Tip: Emergency stop is the function of de-energizing this belt sander, i.e. the emergency stop will not cause the belt sander to brake abruptly, but will cause it to run, together with the motor brake, the belt sander will stop within 10 seconds. Reason: a sanding belt must not brake abruptly, otherwise it may break down and pose a danger to the operator. With an electronic brake, the stopping time can be considerably reduced from 10 sec. to 3 sec.
