Dual Mass Flywheel-Wear Testing Tool
Description
Tool set for testing the Duel Mass Flywheel (DMF), in other words, the two-piece (bi-mass) flywheel. Inspecting and assessing whether a DMF should be replaced or not can be very difficult without dismantling the rack bolts. With the DMF measuring set it is not necessary to disassemble, connect the materials to the flywheel, turn the provided lever and the gearwheel until the free-play clearance is found, then read the tilting clearance on the connected (supplied) dial indicator and compare the measured values on the included data disc. The data disc indicates the allowable value.
