The diameter of the keder cord on a draft skirt is always between 6 and 7 mm. Every caravan and motorhome brand uses this as the standard size for keder rails, ensuring a proper fit.
If the rail is very long or the inlet is blocked due to dirt buildup, the rough material of the keder cord may cause it to get stuck.
If inserting the cord is difficult, follow these tips:
Guide the keder cord into the rail little by little by hand.
Clean the keder rail and spray it thoroughly with silicone spray.
If still difficult, try with two people: one to insert and one to pull through.
Use a keder rail expander to clean or widen the rail.
